On today's College GameDay show, Kirk Herbstreit from ESPN declared that USF is his superdog pick as they prepare to face off against the Canes tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET.

“I think this will be a high-octane, high-scoring game. … I think Miami wins the game, and I think it looks like a blowout out of the gate. South Florida gets it back close and threatens,” Rece Davis said. “And they just don’t quite have enough to do it. I’m going to say Miami wins the game relatively comfortably, a comfortable 14-point win. Which some will view as not quite enough.”

Here is what Kirk said:

"I am going to go with the Sunshine State. USF has a quarterback Byrum Brown who can run around and make some plays. A defense with a chip on their shoulder, 17 points."

I can't say I fully disagree with him. Just yesterday afternoon, the CIS crew released their score predictions, and D$, Peter, and Mike all forecasted that the Canes would cover the spread. However, I see things differently.

I'd love to hear your perspectives on Kirk's insights.

He took the points not to win

He also picked UFag to beat us. I don't know what he's looking at or what kind of agenda he's trying to push...or if he's just losing it.
Who gives a fack about his dog or who he picks? LETS GO CANES!

His employer is a media company that now also owns a gambling company. Y’all know exactly what he is doing. C’mon now.

Canes are actually improving each game since the season started. If they continue to on this trajectory, the Canes should win big - bigger than KH and the CIS pundits think

Feels like Kirk is trying to keep us motivated… making sure Mario has someone in the national media to point to and say “they don’t believe in you… you haven’t proven ****”

Herbstreit started the process that got us here. Who the **** cares if he doesn’t think we cover?
