Kentucky DL Keeshawn Silver
After visiting Florida, Michigan, USC and Miami, Keeshawn Silver is evaluating his final options. A source tells On3 that the former five-star recruit and Rocky Mount, North Carolina, native could visit Chapel Hill and meet with new head coach Bill Belichick. The former New England Patriots head coach’s arrival at North Carolina has given Silver a lot to consider and explore the option of becoming a Tar Heel again.
UNC has deep pockets that are trying to spend now...If Silver visits UNC its a wrap...

Stinking Belicheck screwed Dolphins fans in the pros and now he’s going to ***** us in college. If I had a 24 year old like that. The last thing I’d want to be around is a bunch of young dudes!

USC has worse defense than us tho. Our main comp should be Michigan tho
If you are talking about money, yes, those teams should interest this young man.

Our team is on a better trajectory, and if Mario chooses to hold onto a problem (i.e. Guidry) he will once again have to wear that coat of shame, for not being able to make the right decisions at the right time.

He created that persona for himself, and now is one of those times.

someone said we nailed DT recruiting. lol we got one high quality talent at DT and thats it in the 3 years Joe has been here as the DT coach lol.
What a load of complete garbage

I got a ton of faith in Mario the recruiter but he’s facing forces greater than himself with these battles

Ohio St Literally did pay UCLA a $1.5M buyout for Chip Kelly though, it’s not “desperate” googling lol. If you say that isn’t massive… sure I guess. But meanwhile $1-$1.5M is likely as much as we even pay Guidry yearly in the first place….

You’re acting like it’s grasping at straws when there very literally is an exact example of this lol. It may not be the case that he has a buyout for the exact reason I already said and you just also stated - that it may be exclusively for HC to HC move and not “demotion”… but it also very well could be for any reason while he is still coaching if he chooses to leave. We don’t know. All I know is what I quoted, which is Schiano likely has a $1M buyout. I do find it funny you are trying to say it’s desperate to use literal quotes though lol

First, schools don't pay buyouts. Coaches pay buyouts.

Second, how much a new school wants to pay a new coach is up to them.

Nice try, though.

He enrolled at UNC out of high school, and was there for 2 years.

I don't think UNC needs to outspend anyone here, he obviously liked UNC to pick them once before, and now with Belichick there?

Silver won't be around long enough to see Belicick crash and burn.

well tech the school gives the money to the coach to then pay the buy out. Source: I have UMs tax returns from 2022
