Hopefully the figure out how to line up and shift the front to match the offensive alignment. Even if he eats 2 blocks every time we're still out-leveraged many times this year.
Hopefully we will have a new DC to ensure that piece. We need to hoard guys like this.

I typically hate this comment bc ppl throw it around WAAAYY too much.

But give him a blank check. A Nose Tackle of this size and pedigree is extremely rare in the portal. We likely won't have another chance to get a player like this at that position.

Need to make it happen.

Edge? What edge?
Exactly, our DE's were stunting inside all year. Ain't no way we set an edge with that bull**** *** scheme. I personally think this was a result of poor scheme by Guidry and the lack of true DT body types swallowing up blockers. Messidor and Barrow are smaller guys to play DT. Kiko was neutralized this year on blitz's too because our front end was getting plugged. 300+ pound guys are needed to just eat up space. We didn't have that at all this year.

What did CJ Clark do this year.. similar mold,no?
Clark is smaller by 30 pounds and played a similar position at NCST to what Silver does at Kentucky. They run similar fronts.

Clark then came here and got to play in more of a 4 man front and took on less double teams and got more 3 tech snaps than he did at NCST.

Silver thrives in the 0-1 tech role that Clark really couldn't handle.

Don’t matter we just gonna stunt him outside anyway 😂
Stunt, **** he's over the top coverage for CBs
Gonna be a blast watching him cover wheel routed too
We will be running the Tampa 330 (lbs)

Need this kid bad but I'd be shocked if he goes back to the ACC.. he went from UNC to Kentucky. He'll stay in SEC or B10 imo. Seems like Michigan is most likely destination but with the way UF has been spending they may win out too if he wants to stay in the SEC.

One of UFs big DTs just announced he's coming back.

I feel like they won't be spending too big there because it's not needed as bad as other spots.

Could be wrong.
