This guy is an absolute idiot or his camp are idiots. Why would they even entertain this especially on his draft year. NFL teams are going to use this against him in their draft grades. His camp/agent or himself just screwed himself out of money smh.

With that said if he is stuck here the only silver lining is that he is a redshirt senior and this is his last year of eligibility so he has to perform if not for us just for himself to make it to the NFL. As long as we don't pay him more we should bring him back. Under no circumstances should he be kicked out of the team and allowed to go to Mizzou, if we feel like its a culture killer let him rot on the bench and waste his redshirt senior season.

Current DT rotation without him:

CJ Clark, Marley Cook
Moten, Horton
Campbell, Scott
Artavius, Blount
I see a very slim and unproven DT room. A JAG, 3 freshmans and two question marks besides Cook and Clark

I think it’s time to have European soccer rules for cfb players. They sign their contracts and can be transferred to other teams when both player and team agree ; new team pays buy out. Can even loan players out to lower division teams to get more experience.

Don't understand the JHH tears. He's serviceable-pretty good. Ended up at Ohio St., UGA? No..oh, ok.

IF we lose Barrow, there are several who situationally can take on the upfield, penetrator role (Cook, Horton, Campbell(?),DE's). On a down-in, down-out basis, however, this in all likelihood would be a loss.

I'll say this - the incoming freshman Jones is a grown-*** man, ala Cooper when he came in, but without so much excess weight. Maybe Scott contributes or Moten takes the next step in year 3. Or the whispers about Campbell's potential are true. Yes, probably a net loss, but equally an opportunity for someone to step up. Next man.
again Scott and Jones are not your average freshman DT - both massive and can probably argue they are the most athletic dt's in the country... its not every day you come across dt's with that footwork , especially at their size already

Blount is growing up as we speak can already see his body filling out and getting jacked

Why are you assuming they are ready? It’s stupid

right, I essentially asked the same because you're the only one who's made an assumption.

We definitely agree on the stupidity though.

I’m more concerned about safety than DT if this kid leaves. People act like you can redshirt Scott and Jones and think it’s 2002. We have 3 vets and a couple legit freshman. Elite players play. Scott and jones will play with the other 3 kids. But it sucks if Barrow leaves
You are right my guy. This isnt the early 2000s if you can learn the playbook and you are physically ready you will play. We had a two true freshman at key positions start all of last year in cece and bain. If the young guys are physically ready and know the play book no reason for them not to get some burn.

The Bain koolaid is affecting judgement here. DT is a grown man position..
