DE Herbert Scroggins III signs with the Canes

The Canes landed one of the top targets on their defensive board with the signing of DE Herbert Scroggins III. From the beginning of the cycle, Miami has prioritized the 6’3, 235-pound Savannah native as an impact stand-up rusher.



A product of Benedictine Military School, Scroggins is a high academic (3.8 GPA), athletic (leading rebounder on his basketball team) who leads the state of Georgia in sacks with 21. For his career, Scroggins has an incredible 43.5 sacks to go along with 266 tackles and 43.5 TFL.

Scroggins chose Miami over Auburn.

Has the strength and weight already unlike the other two who need to be at the training table all off-season.

I think this kid gets PT next year depending on portal DE additions.

Outside of Bain the DE spot is wide open.
Are we 100 percent Bain is still at DE next year?

If he has your stamp of approval thats good enough for me, now I need to watch his highlights I been sleeping on this dude pause. I think I only might have saw a bit of it then moved on lol, I am to impatient with highlights sometimes.

This kid is whats good about the process

Hes well spoken, smart and will succeed in life

But ESPN will never do a positive story on him and instead will focus on Travis Hunter and Shadeur's watches
