More like Pitt.
We are Pitt.

An old blue blood that used to win back when our parents were kids and now currently sucks and accepts it, but talks about back in the day we were good and had Dan Marino and Shady and Fitzgerald....
I would say yes but we mirror more USC.

Highly paid coaches trying to bring programs back. Both failing miserably.

And supposedly he’s the best of the other two ****ers we hand backing up Ward

I was just going to post that. Imagine how bad Poff must have been? Jeesh.

We had a month to prep for this game and this is what we do? I’m sick 🤢. DC better get fired tonight I’m tired of the excuses. Coaches with less talent beat us time and time again. It needs to stop. Mario get it fixed and do it quick.
Why is anyone shocked regarding the outcome after a bye week or weeks leading up to a bowl?

It’s been the same **** for 4 years.

I mean...
As of now...
It is the standard. 🤷🏻‍♂️

That's the sad part.

You can't talk about "a standard" when you have yet to build one.
Programs (or coaching staffs) who have a history of producing good defenses can refer to a "standard". Guys like Brent Venables, Nick Saban, Dave Aranda and Kirby Smart can talk about a standard in reference to defensive play. Shoot, sometimes guys from their tree even move-on to become solid DC's. That's culture and a "standard".

Not trying to bash the staff but... let's be real.

What "standard" can Jason Taylor refer to? A guy who's never developed a D-line in his entire life... and who's HS defenses weren't even good.

Guidry...although I don't know the success of his past defenses at other schools... it doesn't seem like he's stayed anywhere long enough to develop a "standard".

I'm not going down the rest of the staff but you get the point. WHAT ******* STANDARD?!

As a 15+ year DC who loves to watch great defensive play, watching our defense is sickening. It really ain't that **** hard to play decent defense! I've had to endure some massive talent discrepancies in my career, the worst being when I was the DC at Cooper City High playing a schedule with 4 state title contenders on it. Trying to field a defense with a bunch of kids who were gonna graduate and become cops, firefighters or accountants. Still only averaged 20ppg and never gave up more than 35.

IT AIN'T MF'ing ROCKET SCIENCE!!!

Nobody can tell me that Miami's defense is THAT untalented! Allowing an offense to score TWICE their PPG average?!

When defenders are scrambling around pre-snap and we look like a Chinese fire drill, that's not talent!

When teams DON'T utilize pre-snap motions and shifts, we're usually pretty fine. But the second our kids see moving parts, you just KNOW somebody is about to be wide open.

That's not a talent issue.
And I have a hard time believing that our players are simply that dumb.

Facts 🔥🔥🔥 why do they play everyone deep too. It makes no sense. Bring some guys up and stop the **** run.

Can’t speak my thoughts without being a mope
I’ll nope for you brother. We have a coach who has no idea about situational awareness on gameday. He legitimately cost us every game this year. GT didn’t take points against a cripple and an offense they couldn’t complete a forward pass, Syracuse kicked a fg instead of trying to score a TD, tonight kicked a fg to go up six against a team that’s undefeated in one score games and he trusted our defense to hold them from scoring a TD. He’s hired a **** dc and he trusts a complete fck up who claimed Emory Williams was a stud as our Director of player personnel / GM. Holeeee fuchhhha

No coach makes all the right calls. You're Monday morning the crap out of this.

Now go through and point out all the correct calls (things like going for 2 in the appropriate spots, calling TOs, going for 4th downs, etc) that allowed us to win games (ie: Cal, VT, L'Ville).
