It seems to me, they have told Collier there are a couple of kids they have already offered. Those kids have not chosen yet, when they do they will know whether or not they have a spot for him. I am sure they are playing it tight because they don't want the kid to feel like a plan "b". Pretty sure they are doing the same thing with Harley. At least it seems that way...

I don't know anything, just reading between the lines.

Lol u dont tell a kid that even if its the case, they most likely just saying they are still evaluating him etc

Bro, did you see what the kid said? “They’re trying to see where everyone lands and who is going to commit to them,” he said. How does that translate to, were still evaluating you. In my theory, they are being honest with him. They are just being upfront. Probably something like, hey we offered these kids first so we feel like we should stick by those offers. However, if any of them don't stick your the next guy we want.

This way they are being honest and respectable. Not every bit of recruiting has to be dirty does it? Maybe I am giving them too much credit. But his statement led me to believe they have been pretty forthright with him that he needs to wait on a couple of others before getting his. Luckily for us, he really wants to be a cane. This is something the previous staff continually botched. Finding local talent that really wants to be here and playing it in a way that does not get you left empty handed....

Anybody know if we are still recruiting Shawn Davis from Southridge? or has that ship sailed?

Billy Gibson has never impressed me. I get he hits hard but meh.
J. Carter 2.0

Diagnoses and plays much faster than Jamal Carter.

Agree. Horrible comparison between the two.

Billy will be a good one , I'm really big on him.

He can lay a hit like Carter and they're both from the Ridge is the only similarities. I think Gibson has better ball skills in addition to playing faster. He'll be coached better from day 1 which Carter didn't have that luxury, and he won't get the boneheaded penalties every game

Gibson is raw. needs to redshirt but has much better instincts than Carter

All teams are seeing what their primary recruits will do and where their head at in respect to teams offer. Boards are constantly changing as guys commit and or move up or down as teams perspectives changes.
