How do you know they’re not planning on him being inside? He’s already 255
Based on film, measurables and the tremendous physical gifts like the freakish length, long arms and elite quickness, it seems to me that he should be primarily a DE. Having said that I can easily see him moving inside in certain packages to take advantage of the insane mismatch he would create vs the opposing interior OL similar to how Baker used Rousseau on 3rd and long. Only this time I expect our DL coaches to use him much better than Baker used Rousseau.

People need to get used to the fact that you can have EDGE players that weigh 270+.

He has the perfect size for that Rousseau type of pass rusher and run stopper. Lengthy, long arms. Give him hands and pad level and he will be a freak.

Facts. Although I think this kid will end up bigger than Rousseau was at UM, I agree that his home will be on the outside even if he is pushing 280. At 6’6+ with that arm length and his raw explosiveness and quickness, he could be a R1 pick if he learns how to use his hands and play behind his pads (COACHING). He doesn’t look like a stiff either as far as bending the edge and changing direction either, he just looks so **** unnatural doing it lol. Coach this kid up, put him in 4 games next year (hopefully clean up time) to get his feet wet and in 2024 we could be cooking with fish grease. This kid is a DE’s coach dream IMO.

I just watched the Hudl tape, his get off is different. His stance is so far back, but he is so explosive off the snap, its insane.

If he develops a consistent bullrush, look out.

Don't really understand the pessimism about this kid by some. He's got future top 10 pick physical traits. Plus with those go go gadget arms he's the type of guy that can effect the passing game without even getting pressure. Any coach worth anything would be ecstatic to get to work with a kid like this.

People are saying Campbell and Rousseau, but is Ziggy Ansah to lazy of a comp? I think he ends up in that 275 - 285 range.

I am glad that 17-18 year old kids make decisions for themselves where to attend because nothing about coming here makes any rational sense to me lol.

You don’t think I know that?

There‘s still a possibility he out grows it which is why I brought it up and he probably will play inside some down like Akeem does.

This was a massive steal no one saw coming. I can promise you Michigan didn’t push him out haha.

My friend is a diehard Michigan fan and he is sending me screenshots and recaps of what they are saying over there. Clearly they wanted the kid and Mario came in there and took him.

Also they blame NIL
