6’7, 254 DE flips from Michigan. Converted basketball player with 7-foot wingspan, 10-inch hands and verified 4.2 shuttle. Originally from Ghana and moved to Rancho San Margarita for high school.

Our staff has compared him to Greg Rousseau. Missed some time this season with injury, but here is his 3-game highlight for this season.

Love the pickup. Shows recruits like to be courted. He probably wasn’t paid too much attention while Michigan focused on the season and when he was injured. Those things matter.

That said… something to be said for losing a recruit because you are too busy game planning for meaningful games and winning… I almost can’t wait for the day we lose a recruit because Mario is too preoccupied with national semifinal games.

Absolutely agree with STATMAN212. Situations couldn't be further apart. Agree on the first part. He mentioned that the staff was in touch just to wish his mom well when she was ill.

For the second part, MC isn’t built like that. He won’t let up because he is preoccupied with game planning.

Literally a MASSIVE pickup haha. Between the OTs and the DEs Mario is definitely elevating our edges
