Antoine, who head coach Ryan Antoine (Jaboree’s relative) said suffered a meniscus injury but did not elaborate on the extent or details of his specific injury, has continued to rehab this fall ahead of his early enrollment at Miami in January. Ryan said his rehab has gone well and said Jaboree will “be ready for spring ball when Miami starts.”
He just kind of tweaked his meniscus, and then it just got to the point where it was never 100% and guys were playing well, and I just kind of talked with his parents and Jaboree and it was like, ‘Jaboree, just get ready to go,'” Ryan said. “He’s leaving on the 11th to go to Miami, so it was more of him getting himself together and knowing that he needs to get ready for the next step of his career. That’s what that was.”
