CB Chris Ewald commits to Miami

Cornerback is the biggest priority in the 2025 class, and Miami landed one of its top local targets with the commitment of blue-chip CB Chris Ewald. The Chaminade-Madonna product boasts a 6’3 wingspan and a long track record of production against top competition.

Ewald, a Top 200 player nationally and Top 25 player in Florida, chose Miami over Georgia.

He becomes Miami’s 13th commit of the 2025 class, joining QB Luke Nickel, RB Girard Pringle, TE Brock Schott, TE Luka Gilbert, OT Jaden Wilkerson, OT Demetrius Campbell, OG TK Muex, OG Max Buchanan, LB Elijah Melendez, LB Ezekiel Marcelin, DB Amari Wallace and DB Tim Merritt.

has played db his whole life....remember dvd teaching him back pedal and techniques when he was young.

Quiet , worker wont ever be a problem off the field. When he hits that weightroom is more to blossom there **** fill out above 180 quickly.

Now with Max and CJ were are starting our assault on 300!
This is the Mario effect in year 3. Can we imagine us next year if we can go 10 - 2 and a playoff birth? Cats will be lining up to come here and hopefully that will be the end of the suck tax!!!

According to 247, we currently have 13 commits, resulting in:

- The 16th ranked overall recruiting class

- The 15th ranked average star rating (generally the best metric)

I am intrigued by us having a class with a better average star rating than overall class rank, especially if we sign a smaller class. Hopefully this is the new norm for us.

UGA made a push but the draw was there with zayquan being on the team and us being local. Hes been around the school a million times since we were recruiting James Williams.

I agree I like all the takes so far. Tbh idk how tf people expect him to pull all these whales with the record he's had first 2 years lol but hey we in the game! We gotta show it on the field this year no excuses. And like you said we hit that 10 win playoff talk he'll get who he wants.
