CB Charles Brantley commits to Miami

The 6', 179-pound Brantley had 27 tackles, 2 TFLs and 3 INTs in 2024. According to PFF, he allowed 14 receptions for 149 yards on 37 targets without allowing a touchdown. He also graded out at a strong 77 percent.

Brantley is a graduate of Venice High School on Florida's West Coast, where he also ran the 100M and competed in the high jump, long jump and triple jump.

For his career, Brantley has 103 tackles, 5 TFLs, 5 INTs and two pick sixes. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

Miami continues to target corners in the Portal, including Xavier Lucas (Wisconsin), Andrew Marshall (Idaho) and Emmanuel Karnley (Arizona).

To an extent yes but we'd have to know the injury specifics medically speaking. I know talent wise he's too good to pass up but we better keep him in bubble wrap till fall camp. Land Lucas + a true nickel CB and any possible anxiety here evaporates.
