Wheel's are in motion. OSU loses tonight on a bad coaching decision. AD meets Day at the tarmac and tells him "thanks but no thanks. This plane is for winners". #4 is on the first flight out of Columbus (Probably takes three connections) and heads home.

One can dream.
I can imagine osu would refuse to put in his paperwork just like Wisconsin lol

Regardless of who we pulled, it was always going to be like coming in behind Season 1 of True Detective. Comparisons are inevitable, but NOBODY stands a chance following that act. Can’t realistically top it. So be careful.

But even though the only way to go is down, the good news is that there’s a TON of room under that ceiling for great things because Cam was so exceptional.
Agreed. Fix the defense, and our offense w/Beck and maybe another portal WR addition could set us up for more team success next season than this past season. Could be a parts being better than the whole kind of scenario.

From ESPN:

Beck underwent surgery on Dec. 23 to repair the ulnar collateral ligament in his throwing elbow after injuring it on the final play of the first half in Georgia's SEC championship victory over Texas on Dec. 7.

Beck will not be able to throw until March, sources told ESPN, and received feedback that he could be selected anywhere between the first and third round, with much of that uncertainty due to the fact he wouldn't be able to throw for teams in predraft workouts. Based on the feedback and advice he received, Beck changed his mind and entered the portal as a graduate transfer.

After backing up Stetson Bennett during Georgia's run to back-to-back national titles, Beck threw for 7,426 yards over his two seasons as Georgia's starter, fifth-most among all FBS passers since 2023, with 57 total touchdowns and 23 turnovers.

He led the Bulldogs to nine wins over Top-25 opponents and back-to-back appearances in the SEC title game. Beck received second-team All-SEC honors in 2023 and has twice been named a finalist for the Manning Award as one of the top 10 quarterbacks in the country.
My guess is that he would have had an InternalBrace added to this repair. There have been enough of these since this technique was released that I would expect he will be able to throw and fully participate by spring ball. The post-op protocols have surely improved and made more efficient for athletes returning to sport since this was released ~5 years ago. And especially considering that he is not a baseball pitcher.

Not a big Cristobal guy but man can that ************ recruit when he’s bagged up.
I remain cautious with him, but he told us to be patient, things were ****ed, and we'd get better and improve every year. He's been right on all that.

Hopefully this year we at least maintain what we did in 2024. Keep the momentum. Send guys to the league. Build build build the brand and the culture. Indiana ain't going to be a perpetual playoff contender. Neither will ASU. That's what Mario is trying to build. Thankfully he also feels the pressure and can land us some transfer quarterbacks to also worry about what's right in front of us.

You never know with some of our fans my apologies.
You’re right that’s on me

I think last March I started the “with Cam Ward all things are possible” stuff

No bigger fan of his on this board than me and he will be a legend to me because of this season

Just having some fun while the good news comes out
