Just ask yourself this. If we win just TWO of those 4 games we likely win the Coastal, finish with 11 wins, and get a MUCH different outlook from elite recruits.

This isn't going to change. Richt is accountable. Either win on LOI day with an elite class or win big with the talent you have so that kids see there is something here worth fighting for.

It's called UF won two national titles in the last 10 years. We last won in 2001. This years recruiting class was 2 years old the last time we won. They have only known a mediocre Miami of the last 10 years (we have only finished ranked twice while UF won two national titles over the same period), while they know UF as a championship school.

Don't even need to go back that far to the Tebow/Urban era...Gayturds have won their division 2 years in a row now, and play schools like Bama for the Conference title even though they get taken behind the woodshed...We haven't won the coastal.

Easy...they did a great job recruiting.

And that goes back to a point I made in another thread...you can get by with being a subpar coach on gameday if you excel on LOI day.....but make no mistake you have to be good at one otherwise it becomes an endless cycle of 9 win ceilings.

its all fun and hashtags...till you realize Randy Shannon and Uf came down here and grabbed Marco Wilson, CJ Henderson, Brian Edwards while he played a cross word puzzle.

We had a need at cb...in a state LOADED to the Brim with cbs...and we got caught holding our d*ck with TWO kids that already decommitted. I mean how green can these dudes be in the recruiting game?. I knew both kids were longshots..and I have no connections to the kids.how the **** did they not see?. there is no such thing as a SILENT.

Less than 4 days ao the board was laughing at UFS class...and they strolled down to south florida and grabbed 4 kids...lmao

Its easier to keep Georgia kids home...in sfla MR goes up against the best recruiters and the most bags. See a difference? MR at uga is savage at UM its harder because of where we r n kids from sfla always choose to feed the fam

Hard to value your opinion if this is the read. This would be an A+ class for Golden. While we missed on several key guys, the players that signed are top to bottom legit players of varying degrees.

Check your facts. The bottom line is, Golden wasn't that horrible of a recruiter in his first full class (2012). He had a top 10-11 class. He signed Tracy Howard, Malcolm Lewis, Tyriq McCord, Duke Johnson, Deon Bush, Ereck Flowers, and Preston Dewey. All of those names were rated four stars or better by ESPN and two years later we won nine games. It was a very solid class but outside of Duke, who was really a difference maker? This class is similar. Richt, I believe, is a better game day coach but recruiting-wise, they're about the same.

Listen, I'm different from most of you cats on here. I'm a bottom line kinda dude. I'm not interested in the coastal, I'm not interested in the ACC, I want the crystal ball and the golden megaphone that we call a national championship trophy. I'm not gonna blow smoke and pretend like this class is some sort of game changer, it's not. You should not lose four out of five top sofla dbs to those c*nts in Gainesville. Just shouldn't. I understand that McFarland got paid by Maryland but you can't be put in a position where he ****es in your mouth the way he did after months of being a silent commit and not have a back up plan. OL was a good haul and you landed an elite recruit in Donaldson and nice player in Gainer. I'm not as high on Herbert as recruiting services are. I thought we did as good as we could at receiver but Devonta Smith not even giving us the decency to attend a visit was discouraging going forward. Cornerback was a need position and while I think Bandy was the best corner in south Florida, and Dean has good size and speed, you needed another guy with speed. Henderson hurts, Edwards....Not so much.

What a bunch of panty *** clowns. What 2 Florida cornerbacks would you pick over Bandy and Dean. Bandy was the unanimous # 1 CB in South Florida. Dean was the # 1 CB at JUCO. Is the Columbus kid better than Bandy and Dean? NO. Was the Miramar better than Bandy and Dean? NO. Davis was a safety all the way and I would not trade any of our 3 safeties for Davis. Who else? LOL What a bunch of prussies!

Canes knew three weeks ago Henderson was not going to be in this class, but the little charade to build suspense at the end fooled many of us including Pete. Edwards always wanted to be a gator. Many of these kids are all about the sec. Again, the constant espin promotion of sec football has gassed many of the youngsters. Edwards struck me as one of those kids.

Be that as it may, obviously we did not address the CB position to the extent that we needed to and that's on Rumph.

Anyone know Dabo's average class ranking over the last 3 or 4 years? I doubt it's been top 5, but maybe I'm wrong. He's evaluated great, especially on the DL, and has a great DC and great QB.
