i have to be optimistic about home grown talent staying home. it feels different but it's now or another 20 of nothing
I think the difference is stacking talent. This needs to be a class as strong or stronger then last year. If not it will be rinse and repeat like you said.
How old are these kids?
Kids from here have always stayed home, unfortunately as the years went on we started getting the crumbs while the elite ones left beside a few here n there. And we didn’t recruit nationally so it was alot of mediocre talent
The problem has also been once they get on campus the culture they enter is **** and the development is even worse. Mario is laying the foundation now so when the kids get on campus they aren’t entering a black hole type of culture.
Tracy howard said in a interview with footballville about how when he came in and the culture wasn’t strong and he was the opposite but at some point he just fell in line with what everyone else did. So we have to build a winning culture even if we aren’t winning at a super high level so when we get the talent and do start winning its not a every other year thing and it’s sustainable and we can build off of it, thats how a great program is built and it takes time.

Can someone update what is going on with McCoy? Rumor is he won't be at the BBQ and will instead be at another team weekend event.....wtf
Yeah, that flip is seeming less and less likely at least before the season. Regardless of whoever we have committed by the start of the season we'll have to put together a good year to keep our current kids committed along with flipping any other priority targets.
So he just sticks at FSU or does he goes elsewhere?
Just listened. Good stuff. But if i heard correctly that Brad Tejeda say that JoJo had to commit early or he would lose his spot…..if that is indeed what he said, Brad either needs to repent or stay off the podcast. No chance JoJo’s spot would ever be in doubt.
