Mertz lost the starting job yesterday. I'd be right now Lagaway starts the rest if the season. And I bumped Miami from -2 to -6 on a $100 ticket. Got back $255

Stock Up

Cam McCormick - from "should go pro in something other than football" to being featured on Gameday in a great feel good segment and he starts off our playoff run with the season's first score. eat ****.

Ryan Rodriguez - got banged up, but he killed it today. Communication, great help guy, showed great on field athleticism, his feet have always been good. technique and fundamentals. He and McCoy got LG held down easy. He was a + starter today.

Elijah Alston - Disruption = production
Jaden Harris - Looked like an All-ACC player today. All over the field. Tackles. INT. Big boy football, workmanlike effort out there.
JaDais Richard - talk ****, boy. Mertz regretted that contact immediately. Very physical today and played with confidence.
Chase Smith - balled out on one drive. Holy ****.
Tyler Baron - looked like a Round 1 pick. That was very legit film out there.

Overall, I loved watching the defense. They need to clean somethings up, that Johnson touchdown made me mad. Good play by Florida, but I can't help but think everyone wants to run that one back.

Stock Down

Everything in the city of Gainesville including you reading this if you're still there. Place is a hellhole. Thank you for supporting our boys, the heli is touching down on top of that gator statue in 5m, meet there and we'll bring you home. Joe Biden in a moment of clarity gave the go ahead just a moment ago.

Graham Mertz really sucks ***.
Billy Napier is very much getting fired.
They have a shocking lack of talent.
They got a dude on the OL with some horrid cottage cheese. Like...they are pulling dudes out of corner stores to play for them at this point.

Final thoughts.

We're going to the playoffs and winning the ACC. Lock in. Talk ****. We're back to some degree. This team is very ******* good.
i'm sure i'm in the minority, but stock down on sam brown ... that was some weak sauce at the goal line, you gotta finish that ... and on the x throw i need full extension ... nitpicking, but facts remain

our safety play was so improved today. no hero ball, blown coverages, and dumb penalties. I was a believer in Jaden Harris coming in.

Btw, I love how all the players ran with Powell on the int. thats old school miami where everyone runs the field.
That was a beautiful sight amongst many. I was praying he’d slow up just a bit to allow them to get ahead of him to set up the last block he needed to score.

Should have been telling when Horton was getting early shares. But no big deal.

He looked more decisive in his clips and when you watched him at Houston. Perhaps he's nicked up. But that isn't for anyone's knowledge.

As for X...getting used to a new QB and sometimes ball placement is just a little off. That'll get better.

Hard to feel stock down on anybody when we broke the florida program with that win.

Nah Horton is going to play a lot regardless. They been hyping him up since spring and cam said he got a good connection with him

Love how we mauled them and gave it to them. I am looking to see more explosive plays in the upcoming weeks. I really want to see CJ run the ball.

That one long td run by Montrell Johnson was really the only mistake by Jaden Harris all game. He needed to provide outside leverage but chose to stay inside and Wes got pinned inside by a few gaytors. We missed several run fits but aside from the long td run we did a great job keeping the gains to a minimum and not allowing the missed run fits to turn into explosive plays. Overall we were disciplined and very good vs the run. The gaytors will have a very good rushing offense this year and our run defense will only improve with more reps as the season progresses.

Worried that we didn't kneel? Why? We didn't need to kneel or worry about kneeling in this game because of the margin. If you mean that it would have been cool to see us in victory formation then take a knee/s to run out the clock while the gaytor looked on helplessly then I feel you(pause) but it really wasn't necessary as we were up by 24 points.
The team literally lost a game over not kneeling less than a year ago...The not kneeling showed Cristobal didn't learn from GT last year. I get that we were up 24 and not in a close game but why risk injury or turning over the ball to put your defense back on the field? There's a reason teams kneel the ball and it has nothing to do with looking helpless, it's to win and not take unnecessary risks.

Injuries? Do you realize they practice as hard as they play on Greentree? If Mario wants to run plays until the clock runs out in a game that's decided, I'm all for it. Whether it's for experience, depth chart competition, or just a straight-up middle finger to UF, their fans, and everyone who trashed him this off season, if he's recruiting like he is and building teams like the one we've got now, he can keep doing things however he wants. With that said, I'd be surprised if he didn't take a knee the next time it's late in a game that's in jeopardy.

I don't necessarily agree with every move he's made, but he's quickly becoming one of my favorite all time UM coaches. You can tell how much this matters to him. He really is one of us.

To me, there is a bunch of things to be happy about, but something incredible most haven't mentioned...

1. penalties by the OL.
In game one of a season, and thinking about all of our missteps in the past, and again the FIRST GAME OF THE Season. 0 false starts. 0 alignment penalties. 0 holds.

That is almost the most incredible part of yesterday.

And I’ll add in that environment. Truly was incredible that we had only 2 penalties all day.
