That's BS. Butch is a much better game-day Coach than Mark richt. Butch built Miami up from probation. The loss of 33 scholarships. Sure it didn't work out in Cleveland. He built North Carolina up from being a doormat to throwing a ****load of first-round talent to the NFL. He's built up FIU in short order. Going from a doormat to a respectable program in less than a year.

Lucky for Mark richt, he has never had to build a program. Georgia was a solid program when he took over. Georgia was winning 8, 9 and 10 games before Richt was hired. Miami was winning 8, 9 games before Richt was hired. Can Richt take us to the next level? Absolutely not. Unless you call winning one extra game taking us to the next level.

Sorry but lane has done a far better job in the same time frame at Fau in the same conference as butch the gawwwww

Butchs 2000 UM Team would Curbstomp any team that Richt was HC at....
Butch's 2000 team lost to Rick Neuheisel and almost dropped another to Louisiana Tech, and contrary to popular opinion, it was the LaTech game that kept us out of the Championship.

Love Butch, but there's no need to go rewriting history just to shlt on the current team.

I'm not going to argue a hypothetical with a fanatic. You have your loyalty to the man because of the coach he is and your personal relationship to him. I admire that, but it makes you a fanatic. Any team that can drop a game to a Rick Neuhiesel coached Washington squad--Coker destroyed a better Washington sqaud the following year--and have LaTech play them close enough to keep them out of a championship, could lose a game to any 10 of the 15 UGA teams Richt coached.

There's a reason why the 2001, not the 2000 team is considered the greatest of all time, and this is it.

So....I guess it was Butchs fault that Portis fumbled, effectively losing the game....Everytime I see Butch I remind him to quit fumbling so much....

Sort of like Richt caused Murray to get his pass into end zone tipped that would have won national championship in 2012.

Well....wait for it...Richt never coached in a NC game before. Sorry.

Smokey easily the worst and dumbest poster here. Like cane dynasty, never touched a football.

Getting a little tired of hearing how things “are coming together” after LSU

No ****. Wonder if it has anything to do with competition?

FSU is trash as a team but we are going to get everything they have that day and they have talent to push us. Really curious how we come out against them.
You can almost be certain that we will make FSU look dominant. Frenchie will start 15 for 15. That little maggot Akers will gash us for a couple long ones. And their defense will have Rosier dribbling from the ****. That's just the way it goes around here.

FSU was butt juice last year and was starting a kid at QB that I swear I was sending $19 per month to a few months before the game. Yet, we made them look way better than they were and got into a death struggle.

been saying this since last season. He runs too afraid on KR.
He implied the other day that he doesn't like it that much because there's not enough room on KR. He loves PR because of the space.

I'd let Lingard get a shot as our primary KR. He can fly, and he's tough as a Chili's steak.

He also said on punt returns he can go whichever way he wants. I thought that was a shot at our highly scripted KO return schemes. I ain't never known @apfenny3 to lie, and he said our kick returners are instructed to run a certain direction and trust that the blocking will be sound.

Sounds dumb to me when you have an electric athlete who's best quality seems to be knowing what to do with the ball in his hands.

Correct, basically there are 3 “alleys” on both sides of the field and the return would be called to whichever side and designed to hit in one of the alleys
