Miami quarterback Cam Ward has just inked an NIL Deal with Adidas.

This marks the third college athlete to sign with Adidas NIL, following former Washington stars Michael Penix Jr. and Rome Odunze last year.

But seriously I hope this means they're renewing attention on better fan gear. I'm down to a jersey and desperately need a closet refresh.

Sheesh. Talk about one of the best decisions a college athlete has ever made to transfer here. Going from a mid to late round draft pick, to top 10 pick at worst and potentially winning a heisman. Then add in the booko amount of money from NIL he’s getting.

Great for all involved. This is what NIL is really for.

Just keep winning. Can’t let the noise get too loud and distract from the main goal.

This is great news for him. Im glad to see him being able to capitalize with his deals. Thisnis also good for the program. Gives us additional exposure and something else you can sell to kids - you can come to Miami and be the face of Adidas, Bose, etc. Reminds players we are a national brand.

He was definitely not a mid to late round pick and why it took so long and so much **** money to land him. Great decision for both though as you said.

The sword cuts both ways but this is the positive for throwing all the money at a QB. Kid is getting paid and we are getting more recognition than ever before. Dude is the story of CFB so far this season
The marketing potential in the city of Miami with a championship caliber football team is something that the previous administration was too shortsighted to realize and too scared to invest in.

I know we all hate Louisville and Adidas, and some of our fans were bullied last weekend, but the massive Adidas logo on their upper deck seats is another example of a benefit of having your own stadium.

Joe knows is going to be our new slogan.

I disagree here. Yes perhaps he shows out at the combine but I think his game film is where he is special... if he had a 1st round grade, he would be gone, If he had a second round grade, he would be gone. I think he was in that 3-5 round range which is a mid pick. Every kid likes to bet on themselves and likely thinks they are going higher than they actually will. I think the delay was a combination of things but one of them was him feeling out NFL scouts and NFL interest.

I guess I can inverse that as well, if he was not a mid to late round pick like you said then that only leaves early rounds right? which would have to be 1 or 2. I dont think anyone had that grade on him last year.

The year before Miami he had 7- 300+ yd passing games. He has done that the first 7 this year. He also took 40 sacks, this year he is at 11. Last year he only threw 25 tds, he has already thrown 24 tds Last year he had 144 rushing yards total, he is already at 190, last year he had 14 fumbles, he has like 2 this year.
