On why he picked Miami: The academics were amazing, especially for my major business and real estate. I liked how it was hands on. Coach Cristobal and Mirabal showed how much they cared. Coach Mirabal taught me technique.

On the official visit: My parents loved the OV. At the end of the visit, we were all on the same page. The rest of the village was very supportive and proud of me. My parents worked so hard to provide everything to get me here.
On Bishop Gorman: We train at a higher level. Hard work! If there’s a loss, nobody wants to hear it. Just get back to work and work harder.
