BREAKING: Michigan guard transfer Tre Donaldson Commits To Miami

Miami has landed its second impact transfer from the Big 10 in two days.

Michigan transfer Tre Donaldson announced his commitment to the Hurricanes on Tuesday afternoon. The 6-foot-3 guard entered the transfer portal the day before and quickly decided to join the Hurricanes just one day later.

Donaldson played in all 37 games for Michigan this season, where he scored a career-high average of 11.3 points, grabbed 3.5 rebounds, and dished out 4.1 assists per game over 31.1 minutes, while shooting 43.3% from the field and 37.5% from three-point range.

Miami and Coach Lucas got another good one in Tre Donaldson

Well this definitely addresses the spacing questions we all had if we got Lowe. This kid is a top notch shooter.

I'm not crying about the $8M budget so much as acknowledging that everyone now has an $8M to $10M budget, and we no longer have a HOF head coach to point at from a player-developmental standpoint.

I want to see Super Recruiter actually recruit before I start getting pumped up about "next year".

I prefer Donaldson to Lowe. Comes from a winning program and is a much better shooter than Lowe.
