Tuesday night UM/NCAA update

### The NCAA used multiple people to corroborate some of Shapiro’s claims, including several former UM players who were compelled to speak to the NCAA and others that were not.

### Also corroborating some of the allegations were some people who were granted immunity -- players recruited by UM but did not attend UM, and players who transferred from UM.

Sue them Donna. Let those motherfckers burn.

According to an NCAA source, UM has asked the NCAA for permission to appear before the infractions committee during a scheduled infractions committee meeting on Saturday. The NCAA has expressed initial reluctance to allow UM on the calendar on such short notice. But UM is continuing to push the matter.

UM wants to meet with the committee on Saturday to deal with preliminary issues and try to expedite the process.

UM then would have a formal meeting with the eight-member infractions committee in April or June. After a full hearing in front of the infractions committee, UM would expect to receive its punishment within two to four months.

Boise State was hit with LOIC and lost three schollies per year for three years. THIS IS NOT A DEVASTATING DEVELOPMENT.

I honestly forgot about that, so it makes me feel a little better.

I am not that worried about getting a severe additional punishment out of this because what we have served is more than enough to fit the charge. However, I think its absolutely bogus that this thing could drag out another 6-8 months without factoring in an appeal if they do give us something additional.

LOIC sucks, but at least it's a means to an end. Get this **** done.
