I don't think they smuggled a phone into the midgets cell. The buzz phone was used by the ncaa employee to call the midget. At least that's how I understand it.

How do we clear this up because I thought that also but Dennis Dodd wrote an article the other day and he said Shapiro got the phone in prison. Sounds to me like that's contraband. It has to be.

If he got a cell phone in prison, it's contraband and a felony.
If he used the jail phones, then NCAA employees using burners are fcking idiots because all the phone calls are recorded and discoverable.

I'm going with the NCAA being idiots and would wager that Miami's already getting those recordings in contemplation of litigation. Not to mention, if the court is looking at Shapiro's attorney n all this, the phone sht would be part of all of that.

NCAA may be a thing of the past in the near future.

"NCAA president Mark Emmert announced on Jan. 23 that the law firm of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft had been retained to conduct the external review of the association's "enforcement environment" – notably the relationship between the NCAA and Shapiro attorney Maria Elena Perez."

I think he's saying it's incredible that during a 27 day internal investigation on the subject of Shapiro's attorney and the NCAA, that the letter the NCAA wrote to the criminal judge on behalf of Shapiro was never discovered.

These fools are now caught hiding evidence . . . .

Like I said before, Dan Brown finally has the material for his new Robert Langdon adventure

Thank you MIA42178 that is exactly what I wanted to say.

How are they supposed to find it when the investigation was limited to the NCAA's involvement with Perez.

If they investigated the entire Miami investigation instead of just their dealings with Perez who knows what time of **** they'd find.

Never trust anyone to investigate himself. NEVER. It's really a very retarded concept that makes zero sense.

I think this same law firm has also represented the ncaa in litigation. Think they're going to risk losing their lucrative client by killing them with their fake investigation?

"Enforcement
Integrity. Fair play. Accountability."These are the principles of the Enforcement division copied directly from the NCAA website. How do they expect their member institutions to follow their policies when they do not follow theirs.

Emmert just trying to save his ***, the best he could. He should of known someone would find out.
