Arrest made in Carson Beck auto theft case

The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of Tykwon Deandre Anderson in connection with the theft of Carson Beck and Hanna Cavinder's luxury vehicles.

Anderson, who confessed to the entire plot, is facing a grand theft charge, officials said.

Beck and Cavinder were sleeping when the thieves allegedly invaded their home and stole their Lamborghini, Mercedez-Benz and Land Rover vehicles. The Lamborghini remains missing while the other vehicles have been recovered. The other suspects remain at large.

I pay for insurance (with my money) to help recuperate monies lost in the event of damages, losses, etc. Maybe you don't. But I certainly do. That is the entire point of having an insurance policy.

What I/you/we/he/she/they/it need insurance for is irrelevant. It is an important financial tool, and hopefully tools like you have some.

Only about 1.6% of all NCAA football players make it to the NFL. Of those drafted, only about 30% make it onto an NFL roster.

Unless you’re a plug and play freshman, you should want to redshirt, what’s the rush?

You think your insurance company stashes your monthly premiums away in a special little account for you in the event they will need it to pay you?

They use your money to pay others' claims.

Let me try again for those who struggled with middle school.* When bad people cause losses, and insurance pays for it, that transaction raises the cost of insurance to all other insurance purchasers. Crime in South Florida leads to people there paying some of the highest insurance rates in America.
