I mean...
Do you really have a choice? lol
Told you I’m Mario so yeah (not really know but it’s a message board and we’re free to discuss our thoughts and opinions) I thikk it’s a mistake to give kids multiple chances to treat us like the girl back home. Same goes for Jean. You have a shot to be here. If you aren’t sure then don’t commit early. If you feel like you made a mistake, decommit but don’t come back if you do and realize your next choice was a mistake.

Not yet. That type of respect is earned, not given. We finally have the type of staff who should be able to earn it, they just need time to produce. Even then, money will always talk.

If he goes to Louisville all we can do is laugh..

It's not a lack of recruiting and it's not a lack of funding.

If he goes to Bama? I'll still hate him but at least I can understand the logic.
Laugh because of what exactly?

I don't expect you or any Cane fan to know this but Satterfield gets WRs drafted in the first 3 rounds. Can you say the same for Mario?

We have Riley Williams at tight end and Jackson Who can line up all over the place. Miami will be fine. The receiver class will end up fine also. Just may not be the names many, including myself, hoped for. This is big boy recruiting as you know C. Let’s see how it ends up after we win 10-11 games

Just to be clear, because he had 2 WR drafted in the top 3 rounds two years ago - neither of which were his recruits - he gets WRs drafted in the first 3 rounds? Because he hasn't done that any other time in his 9 year head coaching career, and as mentioned he's on the hot seat. If you want to bring up Tyler Harrell, he was underutilized at Louisville.

Mario had TY drafted in the 3rd round back at FIU (granted way less recent). Arguably more impressive since it was at FIU and he actually recruited him. If we're gonna have bad takes off of 2 draft picks, why not one?

The momentum swings in recruiting...

Respectfully, this is why guys like Mario need to do recruiting and not fans that get emotional like we do. This isn't about hurt feelings, its about signing on the dotted lines. Every kid that you get to change at the end, like Citizen, Moss, and others did the same to another school. It happens. They are young. You gotta have a thick skin, keep going and convince them. IF we get that selective after 20 years of sucking, we'd have no one.

citizen never committed anywhere else prior to choosing miami. thats the Diff. we can't let kids use us for offers elsewhere otherwise well continue to deal with local recruiting issues. also, its a bit diff when a kid is turning us down for Saban, OSU, or Georgia vs say Louisville. LCE told you guys that we can't be the program thats always there for them when **** doesn't work out elsewhere. its how the offer gets devalued. has nothing to do with emotions either

TY is also better than any of the WRs Louisville put out in the league and better than a lot of the receivers that got drafted in that span.

Satterfeld is a c-list coach on the verge of being fired. Definitely can't say that about Mario.

I'm not sure the point you are making. I'm also not looking to plead for Satterfield because he could get fired maybe. The point I made was Satterfield can show him recent draft success. If you think Mario and TY from 13 years ago is valid lmao ok. If anything that would cause more concern because what happened since?
