Just curious, but why would you be pulling for Tate over two guys who wanted to be here from the jump? He didn't give us the time of day originally and we were there seeing Jordan. He's here now, but he would be my last choice on who I want to see succeed. It's not personal and if he wins the job whenever, he's got my support.

Sounds very personal if that is what you are upset about.

N’Kosi Perry is worse than Jacory Harris.

N’Kosi Perry stats:

Yards - 1091
TD- 13
INT. -6

QB rating - 114.9

Jacory Harris stats (comparable year)

Yards - 3352
TD- 24
INT - 17

QB rating: 140.1

But Nkosi is going to become some world beater. Ok.

Honestly feel these 3 same qb's and the last OC at the helm and this is a moot point. The fact that Enos is here and has an offense that Manny consider's difficult to stop, is a good starting point for me.
Plus the fact Enos is not tied to a system the way Mark was... Enos will use a system that will match the skill set of the player instead of trying to get a player to match a system.. to me that is always a sign of a great coach, not good, but great...

Just a reminder, these are the people y'all argue ball with on here and Twitter. Have some perspective.

Whoever does win out . . . it's a **** shame that the other two didn't . . . Maybe they'll all get to play when we start putting up 50 points a game . . .

Great article... i would guess I’m also pulling for Tate cause i like his style of play... but give me somebody who’s going to put us back on the map and win 10/11 games the next 2 seasons at the end of the day! In Enos and Manny we trust. #TNM

I definitely learned [from last season] and I understand that it wasn’t acceptable for me and especially for my teammates

He just doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling...I'm not a confident in him as I was a year ago this time.

So he had a half season or so of starts, including getting pulled in and out of some games. He had no QB coaching, and he was playing behind an O-line that was porous, and an offensive gameplan that was atrocious and made the O-line look even worse.

But he can't improve?

Seriously. Such a weirdo take. I guess this guy didn't cheer for Brock Berlin in the Orange Bowl in 2003.

What's weird is the reading comprehension around here. You have two QB's who picked us out of high school. In comes Tate and suddenly you're pulling for him over the other two. That's weird, maybe there's an attraction there.

Everyone is talking about what Martell can do with his running! Can he effectively make everyone around him better? We have a lot of talent at RB TE and WR! Dorsey was great because he got the ball to the playmakers...not running for stats. Enos ideal quarterback may be the true freshman and verbal commitment. Perry never had a quarterback coach but has adjusted better to new offensive scheme than a ballyhoos “gym rat”. Rosier knew the playbook but could not execute the plays! Martell can be effective with RPO schemes...he will never be a pocket quarterback. Enos’ preferred scheme will determine starter IMO.

My concern with Perry is that maybe he learned what NOT to do in many circumstances, but does he have what it takes to learn what TO do? He can make all the right decisions off the field, and I applaud him for everything he does right there, but can he see Jordan running wide open? Can he take what the D is giving him? Can he make changes at the line because he comprehends what is in front of him?

If he can, he will be darn good. He has the physical ability to do great things.

Why do so many think the kid is intellectually incapable of comprehending the offensive schemes or the defensive sets in front of him? Yes, he struggled last year, but that may be attributable to a lot of things. It's not like the kid is stupid. He is one of the 12 scholarship football players at UM to make the ACC Academic Honor Roll for 2018-2019.

Let's remember, Jameis Winston was an excellent college QB...and he was dumb as dirt.

Only because I haven't seen him do it yet. I certainly don't think he's incapable, but he hasn't shown he can do it. If he takes it seriously, and if Enos is half the teacher we think he is, N'kosi has a GREAT shot of not only starting, but looking really good doing so.

I know full well every QB was handicapped under Richt. Clean slate for all of them.

Beason says if it was up to him today he would go with Perry. Noted Perry seems to be the most poised. Good little interview right there and breakdown his thoughts on each qb as well
