Saw him live in the State Championship against Heritage. He's 5'10 at best.

Regardless, kid is a BALLER. Has the potential to be a better and more polished DTR when he was at UCLA. By his final year in College (whenever that may be) he will be pushing for 50 Total TDs.
I am 5'10" and he is a little taller than me

Ultimately it would be great if he could get a couple inches taller but let's keep it in perspective, he's still taller than guys like Bryce Young & Kyler Murray so no reason for us to get hung up over it.

I stood next to him last year, I can only tell you what I observed with my own eyes.

TBH, I am not at all hung up on his height. King was a great QB for us. I'm more concerned about his pocket presence, which as I noted above may be partially related to both his height and frame -- e.g.., learning lanes, working around much taller defenders with hands in the air, avoiding being folded by 2 300' dudes, etc. But he has to overcome that issue to be great. Everything else he does looks good to elite to me.

Kid will crush 7x7s, and out-athlete high schoolers. It's how he handles grown *** men coming at him at 20+ mph that will dictate the level of his success in college and beyond.

Why does anyone GAF about his height? It’s been proven numerous times you can be successful in CFB without being 6’4” (Murray, King, etc). All I care about is can he produce as a college QB, and his arm definitely looks like it projects as plenty good enough.
