Why? That's basically what it is now. Guys have agents, they leave if they believe there's a better fit, better opportunity, better team, and/or better paycheck. That's free agency.

Either way, probably best to part ways. If he doesn't buy into the culture, do you really want him around? And if he was trying to get more NIL money after just getting more in the winter, I don't blame the staff for drawing a line and refusing to be strong-armed. Would set a bad precedent.

I read it as we wanted to keep JHH, but at a reasonable price. He just threatened to bounce in the winter and we renegotiated. And DMoney just said he's looked to portal several times. If that is the case, it was only a matter of time. Also wouldn't be shocked if he didn't get what he's looking...

Defense should be put in more advantageous situations due to an offense and QB that puts a lot of pressure on teams to keep up.

@DMoney why does it seem we consistently don't develop certain positions? DT, CB, LB. We keep hearing guys aren't developing. OL used to be on that list. It seems it's been an issue over several different coaches and staffs. Is it more of a lack of recruiting those positions or lack of developing?
