Miami's top quarterback prospect Kevin Olsen committed to the Canes today. Olsen who is 6'3" 196 pounds informed Al Golden of his decision earlier today. Olsen's top 3 came down to Miami, Wisconsin and Auburn.

Olsen lead Waynes Hill High School to its second consecutive NJSIAA Section 2, Group 3 Title this past season.

In 2011 Olsen finished his junior season with a 61% completion percentage. He threw for 1,686 yard, 20 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. During Olsen's sophomore campaign he completed 95 of 171 passes for 1,341 years with 15 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. This gives Olsen 3,027 yards passing with 35 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 2 years of starting. ...

The 2012 NFL Draft came to a close today when the Indianapolis Colts choose Northern Illinois QB Chandler Harnish with the 238th overall pick.
