2014 DT Travonte Valentine is one of the best at his position in not only the state, but also the country. He is planning to use these spring practices to help take his game to another level, but is also using them to help his off the field skills.

“I’m actually working on being a better person and how to better myself.”

Last year, I interviewed East L.A. Community College DT Demetrius Campbell, a highly-regarded lineman from Florida who made the trip to Cali after not qualifying for West Virginia, where he had originally signed out of high school. Little did I know the lengths Campbell was going to in order to play his season and attend class. The 6’4”, 290-lb lineman has a story to tell.

“I’m currently homeless. Ever since I’ve come to East L.A., it’s been tough. It’s hard out here in the city of L.A. because nothing is stable. For a one-bedroom apartment it was $1,200 and my family doesn’t have the most so I was used to not having everything. ...

St. Petersburg Lakewood star offensive-guard Isaiah Wynn has turned into one of the hottest commodities in the county this offseason. Mostly in part to a strong performance at the Nike Football Training Camp in Miami. Wynn started tallying up offers from the biggest programs in the country.

At 6'2" 275 pounds, Wynn is praised for his strong blend of size and athleticism.

Although, the offensive line behemoth would call his play "Just nasty." Which it is just that. Wynn has made it a trademark of his to be the most ...

2014 Blanch Ely (Fla.) LB Terry McCray is considered one of the top pass rushers in Broward County for the upcoming season. McCray is looking to get himself even better with his team’s spring season.

“The spring is going good, I think we’re have a pretty good team this year. I think I have been improving and I think I’m gonna have a good season this year.”

McCray was a major contributor to the defense last year as he helped pressure the quarterback along with stuffing the run.

As early as last week, West Hills, California QB Brad Kaaya was planning on making his college decision in June. Today, Kaaya is a Miami Hurricane.

"I've been considering it with my parents and I was talking with my mom on Mother's Day and we figured out that Miami, Alabama, LSU, Florida State, USC, and Ohio State are the face of college football from the past two decades. There's nothing bigger than playing for Miami and I was high on their board. It's a great staff and they had genuine feel," said Kaaya.

      Now that he's...

Although Hialeah’s Alin Edouard is currently committed to Miami, James Coley has been hot on the trail of multiple out of state signal-callers. Malik Rosier of Mobile, Alabama and Brad Kaaya from West Hills, California could be Miami Hurricanes within the next month if everything goes as planned.

In an interview yesterday with CanesInSight’s Tito Benach, Edouard said he hasn’t been speaking to Coach Coley.

“I haven’t talked to him often at all. I’ve even tried calling him and he doesn’t answer.”...
