All because he wouldn’t fire Spo(and thank god he’s Pat Riley and didn’t). This team lacks a ball handler though.

All of them have an ego issue. That’s why the 90’s and early 2000’s teams would run game on all of them especially the Spurs of the early/mid 2000s.

Nah were not happy with 1 game we want the series.

Hes a generational talent one of the greatest ever and does unreal things on the court but you cant ignore how he acts

It was more than that. Riley wouldn’t give maverick Carter and the rest of lebron’s boys full access to the stadium as well as ridiculous amount of season tickets. Riley and spo also wouldn’t let him travel separate from the team.
 
He will go down as one of the greatest players of all time no doubt.

But his legacy will be his destruction of the NBA unlike his predecessors who raised the game to higher levels like MJ, Magic, and Larry.

The rating in the league are pretty much at a 40 year low.

There are still great games here but are you sure the ratings drop doesn’t have a lot to do with the white fanbase not wanting to have BLM politics in duality with the game (not all but many)?

Otherwise a lot of the games have become too algorithmic. It has become dominated with analytics to the point that a lot of the styles of play to win feel more like they’re playing to efficiency or shooting bundles of threes more than anything else.

there’s so much money to be made now as well that a lot of guys aren’t going to have real rivalries or hatreds, etc. when there is so much to be made.
