I’d take Barry as our coach in a heartbeat (although admittedly I’d take a lot of guys in a heartbeat at present). Prefer to have him as a DC but that’s just dreaming as he’s transcended into the Head Coaching ranks. Anyways, I trust his defensive evaluations across the board.

Barry Odom is absolutely a good defensive coach. Better by a mile than anyone we have on that side of the ball.

Easily. If memory serves, prior to his time as an on-field coach at Missouri he was in a personnel/director of recruiting role (or something of that nature) for those very good squads that had a bunch of future pros on defense.
