Travonte O’Neal is DE/DT from Vero Beach that’s 6’3 240 pounds. He had 41 tackles, 5.5 sacks, and 2 Forced Fumbles last year. He holds 7 offers and a definite candidate to be under the radar because there’s no camp scene. He can definitely grow into a DT but there’s no way to check his growth without camps. First thing that pops off is that even though he’ll need to add weight/strength is that he’s a strong kid for his size and he knows how to engage/disengage on doubles teams. He has a basic pass rush move set that can be expanded on. He plays high but that’s fixable. Most importantly he’s got a great motor and would grade as a good athlete on the interior. He just needs the camp scene so he could test and we can see how he grew. Very possible he could be 6’4/6’5 250/260. I don’t see anything more than an average pass rusher that increases his chances because of his motor but I do see a kid who’ll grade as a good run defender.
