So I know some of you aren’t fans of JUCO guys but this dude is legit. 6’5 280 Strong side or DT prospect that moves like he’s 260. High motor kid with a natural bend for such a big guy and a good first step. Can win with power or a swim with the athleticism to develop a steeper pass rush set. I personally would move him inside because he’s a little stiff to play outside. He also has a tendency to shoot up instead of staying low. Nice prospect to add to the DT room and not be so young. Had 18 TFLs during his freshman season.

I like how this kid sets the edge in the run game. He controls the OT at the snap against the run. That said, he has to kick inside to 3-tech DT to be effective. He's a good rotational guy to have in your lineup. He needs to work on his pad level and disengaging from OL. Improving his hand fighting technique will be important for him once he kicks inside and becomes a pass rusher from DT.

Don’t know why anyone would hate on JUCO kids nice to poke around and fill a hole if the grad transfer market is dry or you have a rash of early departures to the draft

I would ESPECIALLY look at the trenches at JUCOs.. Oline and Dline to find mature, developed kids who are plug and play who have a chip on their shoulder.... I.e Mt.McKinney

Agreed, but think it will be harder for JUCO kids to fill P5 rosters given the Portal rules currently. Also agree that’s it’s great to have mature kids to balance out the DL room
