same thing was going on with butch davis. You have a coach that takes over a program w/o knowing of an ncaa investigation. the ad who didnt tell him, bolted on him. he stays and recruits well.
after his first year, all his upper classmen leave early yet he still improves his record his 2nd and 3rd year. He also has a straight bum at quarterback and a upperclassmen that are soft and not miami caliber. He can develop talent. He has developed Denzel, Tracey, olsen pierre (who wasn't even a top talent), crawford, flowers, etc. He will develop figs, grace, coley, etc. Look at the scrubs we have playing out there. ty, gaines (a mlb who avg. 6 tackles a game and only has one turnover all year), aj, kacy, etc. Artie Burns got abused tonight but so did tracy last year against k st and now he is all acc caliber imo. I think you guys wanting to chase him out of here risk blowing up a great recruiting class. You are nuts and think this team is better than it is. the talent and aggressiveness is from the young guys. When Duke went down it really exposed our lack of rb depth and how horrible Morris is.

I love the nerve of this fanbase. Well threaten to put a bullet in the brain of someone who compares any team to the 2001 'Canes. But we'll sit here and compare Golden, who is 49-49 in year 3, to the guy (Butch) who built that team?

You can't have it both ways.
 
Just for the sake of argument, how do you explain other programs, like say Louisville, being able to develop the talent they do get? We might not have great talent, but we're not getting much out of the talent that we do have.

Artie Burns looks lost. Coley started the season not able to catch a football. Our LBs suck and J. Grace is buried on the depth chart behind T.C. and T.A. I could go on, but it's pointless to do so. Yes, we need top talent, but our kids DESERVE better coaching.

Al golden is an AMAZING program builder and recruiter, yes. Game day coach? **** no. Thai team comes out flat constantly! We almost lost to Wake Forest!

Why the **** did Morris play after halftime? He sucked ALL YEAR with this being his last year with a potential starting qb giving play signals from the sideline????? That on golden.

I love al but he has made too many questionable calls like this. When it's 29-2 why not give Ryan Williams playing time?
 
he is not a good gameday coach because its his first bowl game at this level. i think we forgot he is new to this. strong was at least a def coord at florida.
 
Anybody still defending Golden is a fan of Golden, not of UM.

There is no reasonable defense for this man. He is a sham. He is a joke. He is a fraud.

I'm pretty sure the next time a senior quarterback is benched in a non championship bowl game will be the first.
 
yeah, you lowlifes are genius. you are still screaming fire coach d meanwhile our offense scored 9pts and couldnt stay on the field.
louisville team's best players are from their 2011 class. Juniors and redshirt sophs. what good juniors do we have, Denzel? maybe chick
and pierre. the next talented guy was ej and he is gone. you want to win a nc when all your talent is fresh and soph. not men. get real.
 
Angry Ibis, you are fine with a struggling Morris down 4 tds still playing in a meaningless bowl game while a qb that could start next year is signaling in calls?
