I put this in the game thread but wanted to discuss it more in depth. Who actually has improved on our roster from last year to this year? I might not be thinking straight after that game but only player I can think of his Horton maybe Moten if we are being generous.

This is by far the best development of players we’ve had here overall in the last 20 years.

But someone has to explain to me wtf has happen to the DL? These dudes cant sniff the QB..

The entire OLine? Moton? Bissainthe? Williams? George? Arroyo? Fletcher?

I can't speak to the underclassmen buried behind starters like Allen, E. Williams, the Washington brothers etc but I wouldn't be surprised if they all turn into big contributers.

TL;DR I don't have any issue with player development.

Entire o line? Definitely not. I’d say nobody on the oline but maybe Francis. Arroyo? Sure he’s always been good just injured. Nobody else imo has made significant improvement.

Shows how much we miss Kitchens and Williams. The safeties are ****

Mate we have (had?) the #1 O in the country because Ward has enough time back there to play backyard football.

Arroyo was hurtling towards being a bust before this season.

Our o line was amazing last year. Cooper has not been as good this year. Rivers has been working his way back. Cici has improved. As for arroyo he was looking like a bust due to injury and qb play imo.

Ok, so basically what your original post needed to say was "I don't think there has been ANY player development and I'm going to jump down the throat of anyone that suggests otherwise".

It would save us all a lot of time.

No but you sound emotional here. I named two players I thought improved. I am pointing out that our successful use of the portal might put us in an awkward position next year as we have not seen young players excel and might not know what we have and what we need. I would have liked to have seen more from our younger players by now. That would help us know what we have vs what we need. Mate.

Mostly transfers , Time for Baron to sit hes been terrible . Give Bryant more playing time.

Who from last years team is better this year besides Horton and maybe moten/78/Cici? Not many. It’s mostly the good players from last year still playing well and transfers. When the transfers are gone there’s going to be a ton of hole and a ton of highly ranked kids who haven’t done anything (whether it’s because they’ve been bad or haven’t played much) that will need to be counted on or passed over.

Oh, I don't think he's NFL material. He doesn't want to take anything below 20 yards
