Here are Carol City LB Yasir Abdullah's spring game highlights against Immokalee.

Abdullah does not have a Miami offer currently but he's a prospect I expect Manny Diaz to monitor closely this season. He ran a 4.54 40 laser time at the Nike combine earlier this year.

Still hope we take Abdullah in this class.

I know Reese & Sherwood are ahead of him as OLB's, but if Diaz takes 3 LB's Abdullah would be a great addition.

I don't even need to see the highlights to know I want him on the team.

I just want to hear "Abdullah the Butcher" on the air on saturdays

yes, but i'm still feeling like ashtan pierre is the better choice between these two, as much as I like abdullah

Rosendo Louis at Mike LB, David Reese & Abdullah at OLB are my top 3.

But, it's looking like Louis might be pretty high on South Cack, they're probably selling him on immediate playing time, but I know if Diaz really wants him he'll land him.

Abdullah's size is obviously what concerns them, but man, I can just imagine what Coach Diaz could scheme with that speed of is.

Absolutely hate the the highlights that pause the flow of the play halfway through to show you which player makes the play. Terrible. Do it before or not at all

Has made the national elite HS standard of 10.80--100m ( his best 10.75) and within a fraction a 200m--22.00 (his best 22.07)

The size is a problem at the moment....he did play safety over in Ft. Myers area, then came to Miramar then to CC.
(2017 Nike)--Abdullah, Yasir-- Carol City- FL-- 6-0.5(H)-- 188(W) --4.54(40)-- 4.31(shuttle)-- 37.5(Power Ball)-- 34.2(vertical)-- 103.95(SPARQ)

He would have to be red shirted and hit the S&C program. Or is there any possibility he could go back to safety?

Did Immokalee have anyone — rising senior or underclassmen — who stood out?

They are one of the teams in SoFla I like to follow.

I saw one game last year---I remembered the # and names and then looked them up-

This kid is 6-2/185 or so and is a 2019. I do not know his speed, etc but was a smooth route runner who will block

Thanks for the info!

He may be fast as lightning, but this coaching staff has preached physicality and toughness.

The reason he may not have an offer is because he has yet to show those traits. The whole highlight was swing tackling.
