Regular students have the “right” to pay tuition. Sometimes up to $82,000 per year (my kid).
You should see the one they did on your Mom....Brutal....

Depends if it’s before or after Manny drops bags.
Did Manny have to pay a buy out? He probably had a buyout provision on which he made good. Thus, it was probably understood by Temple that he could leave. It is not the same as a kid who plays Miami to near the end than walks. Miami is left with no recourse. This is another unwarranted smear by a third tier "journalist."Agreed Manny made a commitment to temple and backed out. Everybody understands why he did it. Now he wants recruits to make a commitment and tells them to shut it down. Maybe if Miami actually started winning consistently recruits might not be backing out so often.
in fairness to manny, by all accounts he told them if um ever opened, he was leaving
Making it worse is technically doing something. That being said, he needs to weed out the guys using UM for bigger bags, somehow. I do expect this to make it harder for him in the short term, but it could pay off down the road IF he starts winning.Miami has a decommitment problem so whatever we have been doing isn’t working so you got to do something. Miami by far has the most decommitments in the last decade. Don’t care for this article.
They're all hypocrites, just think of the term "student athlete"the article is a bad look bc it does show hypocrisy but that’s the nature of the business.

Manny needs to quit talking and being edgy at this point until we get some winsUnfortunately, this article and some of the comments will be used against Miami in the coming recruiting season.
As has been mentioned, winning is the answer.
Like winning? lolWe lead the league in decommitments every year. We have to try something different.
Your kid doesn't bring money to the school. Nobody wants to see your kidRegular students have the “right” to pay tuition. Sometimes up to $82,000 per year (my kid).
Don't want recruits to decommit?
Start winning BIGTIME........Even then you can't stop people from changing their minds.
Recruits can and should look around then do whatever is best for themselves. We got a lot to offer and shouldn't fear comparison.
IF someone really wants to come here they'll stick. IF NOT then he won't.
EVERY COACH in every era wished ALL their commitments would stick. Nothing new there
But other coaches accept that the ONLY firm commitment dates are the National Signing Days.
Live with it just as every other coach does
