Xavier Restrepo recorded his second consecutive 100-yard receiving game today against FAMU.

Restrepo was clearly the primary target, and FAMU failed to cover him well, which was evident in the first quarter as Restrepo was dominating the game.

Restrepo finished the game as the leading receiver with four catches for 104 yards and a touchdown. His longest reception was a 50-yard pass from Ward to the right. Last week against Florida he racked up seven receptions for 112 yards...

Not one person ever said that about Berrios.
Not one person wanted another Berrios? He came to ball every game ( as X does ) and he also seems to just snag everything thrown his way ( as X does ). Not to mention Berrios and X are both a sigh of relief on special teams. My bad, Berrios isn’t a “one of the greatest ever” but in the last 20 years he was definitely one of the most reliable.

A lot of us said that about Berrios... pretty similiar, and I hear theres a young man in Miami some are already comparing to Restrepo..
Because they are little white guys...

That's are comparisons to be made. Very similar actually. But X is on another level. I'd take Brax on any team that didn't already have X on it. That includes the 01 squad.

X is beyond his years , he’s actually playing NFL Sunday level now.
X can do 200 YPG no problem at all , it just depends on the evolving game plan to reads and check offs , he’s basically always open can’t be covered.

He is ALWAYS open. Camera caught a shot of him standing wide open on the goal line on the Arroyo td throw

agreed. Berrios was misused for his first three years. underused and put at the X and Z. it wasn't until his final year that he was put in the slot and then he did very well. see his stats below.

restrepo, thankfully, has been used correctly from Day 1 and he has been an absolute stud

Berrios only really showed out for Miami in his last season here. No knock on him at all either. Berrios was that dude while he was here. Other than size,
there’s just no comp anywhere that puts him on par with what X has done here so far.
