I would layer up big time. Been to a couple inaugurations since I live in the area. I remember obama’s first. It was in the teens like it will be on Monday. Holy **** that was an unpleasant experience. I had to bail after a 1 hour.

You’re gonna be standing still for a long period of time so hand warmers is just one thing you need. And pro tip, if you have bulky gloves/mittens, buy liners that go underneath. I wore that skiing for the first time and it’s a game changer for me! I’d wear 2 layers of pants and 3-4 up top (base/mid/heavy mid or parka).
