Xavier Lucas wants to be in the portal but Luke Fickell pays to watch men ramrod his wife

So at this point we’re just hoping he somehow gets Wisconsin to release transcripts so he can enroll by Monday right? - with the rest and football implications to be decided in due time ?

January 22nd is next Wednesday.

If UM wants to admit Xavier Lucas without college transcripts, or with "unofficial" transcripts provided by Xavier Lucas himself instead of the Wisconsin Registrar's Office, we can do so.

But I suspect if Wisconsin can "fail to process his Portal paperwork" in 48 hours, they can also "fail to send his transcripts".

So I'm fully in favor of doing whatever UM needs to do to avoid eye contact with Angry Wisconsin.

Pretty sure one of their goals by dragging their feet was so he couldn’t enroll at Miami for spring. Then once the deadline passes, they’re magically gonna let him in.

In that case, we should lie and tell Wisconsin that our registration deadline is Friday, January 17th.

Just tell them they will get Dyoni's transcripts once they send Lucas' transcripts

You don't know? This is all over an overdue book fine. Transcripts are locked.

Lol seriously wisky is so out of bounds on this one.

It seems like withholding transcripts would be illegal. Not from a student athlete perspective but for the general student population. How can a public university prevent a student from transferring by refusing to send transcripts? As of July 2024, schools can't withhold transcripts even if a student has an unpaid balance or default on their loan that's at the federal level with the DOE.

I agree with you. Then again, the NCAA rules (which Wisconsin adopted in their own university policies) allow NO EXCEPTION OR EXCUSE to the requirement to process Portal paperwork within 48 hours.

And yet, here we are.

While a violation of the NCAA rules and the university's own written policies may not be "illegal" in a criminal sense, it is still a clear violation, no matter how many irrelevant issues Wisconsin raises ("signed contract" and "tampering") to muddy the waters.

How can a public university do such a thing? Violating NCAA and university policies? I have no idea, yet Wisconsin did it.

So I hardly think they would be worried about "taking too long" to send someone's transcripts, when they have already violated NCAA and Wisconsin policies.

Same time tomorrow morning fellas?
Hi, yes, I was told to meet here today and that there might be coffee and donuts...
