Xavier Lucas in the portal

You’re right that it should. If the guy took a bunch of front loaded money on a promise to stay and then reneged, Miami’s collective should make them whole if we take him. I don’t know anything about what’s happening, so maybe that’s not the case.
This is not exactly on topic, but along the lines of what you’re saying, I think the transfer fee system used in international soccer would be something to think about adapting for the NCAA. You have a transfer (portal) window, if a school wants to contact a player with a current NIL deal they have to go through official channels, and if you want to take a non-grad transfer from a school, you have to pay a transfer fee. Transfer fee could maybe be 1 year of NIL/revenue sharing unless the school waives it. I am not sure exactly how it would work, but at least the schools who have invested in developing players can get compensated for losing players through transfers.

Thank you, this worked like a champ! The site loads normally and I scroll smoothly without issue. Game changer!

All that bloat they had loading on every page was ruining the site and making it almost un usable for me.

Integrity?

Have you seen an NIL agreement? The payments are usually front-loaded, and there usually are no repayment schedules.

If he is not legally obligated to repay the money, why would he do so? And if the Wisconsin collective feels so strongly on this issue, why don't they draft their contracts better?
Speaking only for me — never seen an NIL agreement. Honestly I don’t even know what NIL stands for, I just say it so people think I’m not an idiot. Wisconsin is the capital of chicago, right?
