Currently on Spring Break and will do a tour of programs in the south with some teammates of his and Spring Valley HS OL Doug Nester who is currently commited to Ohio State.

Unfortunately they dont think they will make it to Miami but he will definitely visit this summer

He’s very interested in playing with Evan Neal, Donaldson, Eguakun, Lucas,
 
Yea he is very interested in Miami is building on the OL but he also likes what Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, Oklahoma, and Tennessee have been building on the OL too.
 
I read on 247 that he might like Tennessee right now. If that's the case then I feel good about our chances. He seemed to be all Ohio State.

Pruitt is elite. Unfortunately for them, it will be a couple of years before they become SERIOUS contenders so when it boils down to it for I still expect them to lose the vast majority of the blue chip battles for this cycle.

Regarding Wright, all we can ask for is a visit at this point and go from there. Hopefully he can get to campus this summer on a beautiful weekend and have Hartley do his thing. It would be even better if we had Neal on board before he came.

I can speak about UTK having lived 2 hours NE of there for quite a few years. I've had to listen to their BS for years! Even if Pruitt is elite, he's got a long row to hoe with the mess Jones left him. Fan base is insufferable and if you think Alabaga is KKK town, Knoxville is a close 2nd. Only thing they have to offer a recruit is a ticket out of their hometown far enough away. They have to recruit out of state because there is virtually no 5* talent in the state - at best 1 or 2 a year.

Not true.

There is plenty of Talent in the Nashville/Murfreesboro area and in the Memphis area. Problem is UT never really had Head Coaches they will go to the hood and recruit

To some extent. Memphis is almost 400 miles away and really doesn't produce the level of talent seen in FL, TX, Ca, etc. Rarely, if any 5* and it's closer for kids to attend AR and TX schools. Same can be said for Nashville/Murfreesboro except for distance. Jones' focus was East TN, GA, NC, SC and would try and raid FL now and then. If you look at their roster, over 80% is out of state. In contrast, the roster @ the U is 80% FL.

Therein lies the point of having to be a national recruiter - to get elite players, they must go out of state. Another example would be a D2 school, ETSU in NE TN that just restarted their FB program 3 years ago with Carl Torbush after having axed the program 10 years prior. This is the D2 level and clearly 80% or better of their roster is out of state. Same can be said for a D3 school in Greeneville where they have over 100 players on the roster and their roster is made up of well over 80% out of state - even several from FL. Most of the high schools in TN - especially E TN and other "rural" areas - are 1,2, & 3A level schools. Population doesn't support higher levels.
