I was sold watching these playoffs that you have to have the guys like Javon Wims at receiver to bail the QB out when they get erratic. You can throw the ball to Wims on an 8 yard route on 3rd and 10 and he gets you the first. Other than Ahmmon, we have no one like that on the roster right now.
Langham may have won us a game or two doing that?. Im just saying?
He did on one play against FSU, the one against GT literally fell into his hands on a miracle, and late in the season he had the dropsies. Love him to death but wouldn't put him in the same category as Wims.
Man, had no idea about this. In my mind, I thought Cooper had far greater numbers. That said, Cooper has played in 6 fewer games.
That's cuz they haven't played to a draw. Cooper has been in the league one less year and has surpassed hurns in nearly every stat. This year its not even close.
I'm not going to even ether this statement. There's a reason why Cooper's numbers have been good, but way below what the Raiders expected. If I'm not mistaken, he's led the league in dropped passes each of his first 3 years by a wide margin too.
Ether my ***. If you are arguing that Cooper wasnt worth his draft status well thats one thing. But to say Hurns has played him to a draw is false.
gogeta4's initial statement was "Allen Hurns and Amari Cooper have almost played to a draw"
The numbers don't lie. Their career averages are really similar with Cooper only averaging 1 catch and 12 yards more per game. Touchdowns per game are identical.

how much games of Wyms have you watched?...and he dropped 2 balls in the last game before we got to a water break
Yes, absolutely you are correct there. I think our big guys did as well. I think Thomas and Harley will break out of that as they get bigger. Their blocking showed me a lot last year.To be honest I saw our big guys like Langham and Cager get bullied more than Harley or Thomas. Cager did turn it on though but it was shocking to watch such big kids lack the consistent fight for the ball.Love this guy. Plays with the Jarvis Landry edge and snatches the ball.
I'm a big fan too, db's won't be bullying him like some of the current small guys. Dude is a beast.
I just noticed Harley and Thomas having issues with getting off the press
3 WRs is enough for this class. we need some room to get Payton and Ladson next cycle. those two are much better prospects than Ezzard.

So ur worried about the 2019 class when it comes to taking an elite wr like Ezzard in 2018?? Lol I can't even wrap my mind around this type of logic
When I watched Stockbridge the first time Ezzard caught like 7 TDS in 1 game. 1 or 2 was called back. After the game I asked his coach about him and he said “oh he’s committed to FSU” I told him I was a canes fan and that he needed to redirect the kid somewhere else.. at the time Miami hadn’t offered. I said I wish he’d be a cane or just go somewhere other than FSU. He decommits unexpectedly 2 days later. Then a few weeks later we get in the picture...
Just read a message from his coach from earlier today... “Do you remember what you said about Marquez a couple months ago? It happened”
Dugans and Richt apparently closed the door today
Prior to this it had been he was interested in the playing time opportunity at Ole Miss and the offense they run but he has always loved Richt and Dugans. There was a point they almost backed away because he didn’t seem interested in Miami. But they kept pushing and apparently built by far the best relationship of his recruitment. His coach has always held that if Georgia offered he’d commit on the spot and that still holds true. Just hope they don’t need a late signing day WR because Georgia is aware that is the case with him..

wouldn't have a problem with it if Ezzard was elite. he's not, in my humble opinion.
