WR Marquez Ezzard update

Give me Ezzard. Need more bullies at the wide out position to balance the speed.

Love this guy. Plays with the Jarvis Landry edge and snatches the ball.

This, but with a much bigger body (already). He's a grown *** man at WR who fights for the ball in the air every time. And his change of direction is better than his straight-line speed, which looks fine on film. The type of WR that turns 50/50 throws into 80/20 catches.

We already have Hightower.

WR recruiting has been solid under Richt but a kid with the speed of Schwartz should be at Miami imo.

One prospect. All the other big WR's we have suck. Ya'll were constantly bi*tching about no fades to big WR's in the red zone and not being able to score. We have 0 reliable WR's on the roster that fit that description. Whatcha think the staff is trying to fix?

This is a legit 4* recruit that fights for the ball. Teach him to run routes perfectly every rep and you got a first down and TD machine.

Just because they’re on the team doesn’t mean Richt will call the play. He had options to throw the fade to plenty this year and rarely did.

I like this kid though

Fyi did anyone else catch what the fade route looked like with a rosier dart on the other end of it? Him and braxton somehow worked it out several times but buddy had the touch of ryan leaf post nfl days to his throws. Not much sense to run a finesse route witha qb who has zero touch on his ball.

I certainly get that point. Rosier def lacks the touch. Still think we could have tried it more than we did? Did any of the WRs coming in have an opinion about Rosier??

it's probably safe to assume that they worked on it in practice and that malik just couldn't get it done consistently. it's hard to throw a fade to anyone if your quarterback has the touch of a rapist.

He reminds me of the guys Georgia was putting out there last night; big, mean and aggressive. The WR corps that we're building seems to be a combo of Georgia and Bama, with some big and strong guys mixed in with elusive speed guys. I like the mix.

I was sold watching these playoffs that you have to have the guys like Javon Wims at receiver to bail the QB out when they get erratic. You can throw the ball to Wims on an 8 yard route on 3rd and 10 and he gets you the first. Other than Ahmmon, we have no one like that on the roster right now.

This dude with Donk coaching him will be a monster blocking in the run game.

I’ve talked to his coach from recruiting other kids from there. If Georgia wanted him he’d go there in a heartbeat. If Miami and FSU are serious about him he’d end up at one of those schools (as long as UGA isn’t an option) and Ole Miss in the picture because Miami and FSU didn’t seem serious. If we turn up the heat we’ll get him or at least come down to the wire with him if FSU shows the same interest. I don’t think Georgia gets seriously involved

**** yeah with AR82, JT4, Harley, Cager and the two headed monster at TE. With the dawgs we have at RB...Look if N’kosi or Jarren turn into what we think they can our offense will be a PROBLEM for anybody in college football. I expect our o-line to continue to get better.

We are so loaded at WR with or without Ezzard. I'm good with taking him just to stack chips but would rather take another spot at Oline, Dline, or LB.

I think he's definitely deserving of a scholarship offer. But, I'd still rather take an extra DT/DE or LB than an extra WR. 4 WRs in this class is definitely not necessary.
