Would you take Sentrel to BC for use in the Jumbo package?

3rd and 1, goal line, 4th and 1. Line him up, run behind him and your other tackle. Even if you run to the other side BC would still have to account for him coming into the game.

It's not a tactical thing that's keeping Seantrel from going to BC, it's moreso that he's simply not physically ready after missing most of Fall Camp. You don't take a guy that's not physically ready to play with you on the road.

If we ran a jumbo set with an extra OL, I think they'll toss in someone like Jared Wheeler, Ben Jones, or Jermaine Johnson (all 3 of them average 6'5/310'ish--plenty of short-yardage beef there)...along with bringing in Cory White at TE...dude says he can catch, but in my mind he's nothing more than an OL wearing a receiver's number--he's 6'6/278.

the reason he is 3rd on the depth chart isnt because of a lack of ability, its because hes missed so much time that he isnt ready physically, and after the summer hes had, he may not even be ready mentally. if he was ready, he would be traveling and would play. we have plenty of other guys who are ready to play and are just as capable of taking up space and getting a little push in short yardage situations. if he was ready to play and was in the 2 deep, he would likely be in at tackle in those situations anyway, and wouldnt be the extra guy. so regardless the BC will have to be prepared if we line up that way regardless.

Nope. I'd rather have one of the other guys that has gone through all camp and is familiar with the schemes. Also, I'm looking for either Jones or Lewis to finally show something as seniors.

the big guy has a lot of making up to do. i know al let him go but his teammates were the ones busting *** all day in the heat sweating bleeding and growing as a unit. letting him back in and not working for it is what got us to this point to begin with. Next man up and if you get passed by you have to work twice as hard to get your spot back.........
