I know we are moving away from using a FB, but we have also had a horrible time with short yardage.

A lot to do with the OL, but I wouldn't mind picking up a bigger back.

Dametrious Crownover could play Strong Side DE, DT, or TE in college.

Seen him listed at 6-7 and 230 pounds.

Recruiting them aint the problem. Having abysmal short yardage and goal line offense with a 260 lb FB on the bench not being used AT ALL is the problem. They're STILL viable weapons for coaches who know how to use them.

That would be the perfect spot for Irvin with his size, use him as a blocker and of course he can get the ball out of the backfield as well..
