The kid had his shaky moments last night but he is unreal. A talent and depth gap certainly exists between the teams but he makes it look worse than it is.
I thought the defense actually played pretty well till they wore down. They slowed down the run and created a lot of third and longs. Winston is just a beast of a QB. He reads the coverage quickly and finds the open man or he checks down quickly and makes a timely accurate throw that lets the rb or wr maximize yards after catch. Where Morris just isn't good at making quick decisions or accurate passes save for maybe the deep ball.
Every bit of space on the field he can make timely accurate passes to which really stresses the defense. Short timing routes, and long developing down the field routes.
Then if you cover everyone and bring pressure he moves around the pocket really well to buy extra time, something morris struggles with, and if still nothing develops he just runs for the first down.
As long as he is there they are going to be an unholy ***** to try and stop. Hope he leaves for the draft after next year.
