Will we be ranked when the next polls come out?

Doubt it. We beat Charlotte and we'll get some votes. We beat UCF and then I think we'll be ranked.

Voters still don't trust the UM basketball brand. They're taking a wait and see approach.

I was just wondering cause at the moment all the espn talking heads are on our ****

We will get some votes but that FGCU game hurt us. We MIGHT slip in to 25 but doubtful.

they are going to look at michigan state as a big one and UMASS as a big road win. With one early loss, we are in there IMO.

I don't think so. There are almost 50 teams that receive votes for the top 25 and Miami didn't receive even one vote in either the AP or USA today polls last week. Even with a huge win over Michigan State that's a lot of teams to leapfrog (especially when you already have one loss, a really bad loss, on your record). Plus, there aren't that many teams at the bottom of the top 25 that are going to drop out and open up a spot. UMass is supposed to be a quality win, but I don't think it's going to register at all, honestly. 2 teams have already beaten them by a larger spread than the Canes (NC State by 18 and Tennessee by 14) and they sit at 3-3. Be great if they can head into conference play with only 1 loss (they should).

IMO, I think the MSU win wipes out the FGCU loss. So basically, should we be ranked for beating UMASS and Detroit? Probably not.

Not sure if we'll be ranked, but we'll be receiving a decent amount of votes, and be close to the Top 25.
