The man is the goods but I still dislike is *** to the utmost and hope a few teams pick off his staff as they look to fill coaching vacancies.

OC Tom Herman
DC

Will it even phase him though? He never seems slowed down by the coaching vacancies save the one year with Brantley who was admittedly garbage.

Top gameday coach, total douche as a person. Which hurts him in recruiting in the long run, despite having the kind of energy even Al Golden would be proud of.

Urban "The Snake" benefited great with the Big Ten being hot garbage this year............

He also lucked out by OSU being in the Leaders Division....... Illinois, Indiana, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue, Wisconsin......

I would love to see "Big Red" curb-stomp OSU every year in the championship game.......

When Mullens left UF Meyers offense fell apart. I agree with the other poster that OSU's schedule helped them this year. I watched their games and despite being undefeated they are not an elite team.

When mullens left the offense wasnt as good, dont blame Brantely he was a pocket passer trying to run an offense not suited for him. He better worry about Vrabel he is a hella of a coach.

OSU* should dominate that conference. How many other schools sit in the talent base OSU* does? Not even Michigan who has to go into Ohio has the talent OSU* has access to. Maybe PSU but they got their own problems now. Meyer should do well in the B10 for as long as he's there. Winning the NC game? That I'm not so sure about.

Meyer is a **** good coach. He's not very well liked by his peers, but neither is Saban nor was Jimmy...people cannot stand pricks that win.

Great coach. Ohio State played 8 home games and 4 road. They opened the season with 4 cupcakes at home.

Miami played 6 home games and 6 road. We opened the season with 4 of 6 games on road (against 2 great OOC teams in KState/ND)

CFB is a joke.

Tebow also left ...

He is always going to have the most talented team, and the big slow defenses in the Big 10 are going to have a hard time stopping his offense. Expect him to run that conference for the foreseeable future. Only team with a prayer to keep up is Michigan over the long run. Michigan State, Wisconsin, Nebraska...they will have a hard time getting the athletes to stop that offense.

Looking back can't think of a team the dominated at all season.

**** even cal went into bucknut ville and gave them a run for their money

Pelini needs to step up his game on the D side. That is his specialty.

OSU's 2012 Schedule.....

Amazing...... Urban is getting all this hype over going 12-0 with this schedule.......

1. Miami (OH) RedHawks
Current Record: 4-8, 3-5 (MAC)

2. UCF Knights

Current Record: 9-3, 7-1 (C-USA)

3. California Golden Bears
Current Record: 3-9, 2-7 (Pac-12)

4. UAB Blazers

Current Record: 3-9, 2-6 (C-USA)

5. Michigan State Spartans

Current Record: 6-6, 3-5 (Big Ten)

6. Nebraska Cornhuskers
Current Record: 10-2, 7-1 (Big Ten)

7. Indiana Hoosiers
Current Record: 4-8, 2-6 (Big Ten)

8. Purdue Boilermakers

Current Record: 6-6, 3-5 (Big Ten)

9. Penn State Nittany Lions

Current Record: 8-4, 6-2 (Big Ten)

10. 2012 Illinois Fighting Illini
Current Record 2-10, 0-8 (Big Ten)

11. Wisconsin Badgers

12. Michigan Wolverines
Current Record: 8-4, 6-2 (Big Ten)

Their defense was torched by Indiana!
Indiana was playing their backup QB in that game too.

I think OSU fans would be happy if their co-defensive coordinators were raided. OSU's defense was very inconsistent and played very poorly at times. If they get that side of the ball straightened out they might make some noise nationally. Might. As it stand, the Big 10 is a joke (especially OSU's division) and if Meyer doesn't have them in the conference championship game every year he should be ashamed. Look for OSU to be regular cannon fodder for Oregon, Stanford, UCLA, et al in the next several Rose Bowls.

That is the case with * every **** year. They usually play OOC schools likes northern Vermont tech A&M, Southern women's intercollegiate prep, Central Mich school for the blind, and North central southen Iowa and then get ranked in top 10. CFB ranking is a joke. I swear the only level of team competition in which the rankings and championship match-ups are determined by opinions. Every other level of football/team (pee wee - pro) sport determines their chamion on the field....but i digress with common sense......* and meyer can suck a long fat one

I doubt it. isnt fickle the DC? I know last year he was dealing with a tough situation but he didnt look like HC material.

Yet. He's still young and will get chances. I know I would give him a shot in a few years.
