Just got offered by bama. They sure are going after a lot of new dbs. Find it pretty interesting we havent seen Miami have any new names surface recently given the developments with Campbell

I read this on TOS, it's very odd for Bama to be still sending out offers this late in the game.. My thought on this is Bama is trying to add 1 or 2 more DBs and they aren't locked in with the recruits they are going after!! Saban was in SoFla yesterday, stopping by a DB for 2019.. Maybe this is a sign of good news for Miami when it comes to the guys we are after...

Sad we're going after Bethel over Wilson and Wildgoose. If Rumph doesn't land Surtain or Campbell he can't GTFO fast enough. Dude gonna leave us with a jag on his way out the door.

Anyone else think this is a play for Campbell? Rattler already mentioned that they were close, and I’m sure there’s a chance Campbell brought up Wildgoose to ‘Bama coaches after he got dropped by Georgia.

Very odd offer, Wildgoose is a great kid but never thought Bama would give him a commitable offer. Would be a mistake to offer just like Bethel.

Wilson already signed with Georgia, had beef with one of the signees and coaches didn’t feel he could play man press (not sure if I agree). So no offer.

So they have Campbell, Surtain, and Taylor-Stuart visiting this weekend but then turn around and offer Wildgoose and Irvin on top of that. All over the place.

While we siiting with Hall, Frierson, Blades and Ivey and at the very least Bethel. Hmm. Not too shabby.
They would have to pull everybody left for a better class on paper and remember he flew the chopper out for Hall.

Is Wildgoose better than Bethel?

As a DB at this moment maybe but Bethel is faster and better measurables and will probably be better or equal. What does Saban have to lose he has 10 5*DBs already on roster will probably make him grey shirt, we aren’t at that point to afford wasting scholarships. It would be a mistake to offer either DBs

I wasnt saying Miami's class was bad, I am just confused as to the gameplan. 3 of the top db in the country on a visit late in the recruiting game, and then these random offers for kids dropped by other schools or lesser offers. Just all over the place.
