Three reasons why we lost yesterday.

First, we lost because of coaching. When you lose to an inferior team, coaching is the problem. We have a talented team (except in the secondary) that is coached by inferior or average coaches especially coaches on the defensive side. No good game plan. No on-the-go or in-game adjustments especially on defense. No proper motivation to win a game.

Second , we lost due to no defense. We couldn’t get off the field to give our offense a chance on a day the offense was not clicking. Our vaulted edge rushers underperformed. We couldn’t stop GTec’s routine plays over and over. The offense has carried us thus far. The defense has done nothing this season except on green tree.

Third and lastly, Cam Ward. Yes. Cam Ward. He is super gifted but too reckless at times. He won’t check down. He won’t throw the ball away and avoid the sack or turn over. As much as he can win you many games, he can also cost you the big one. Herein lies the problem. This can be a major concern for an NFL GM and could cost Cam in the draft. The guy is great, but his ball-discipline is not.

I think these were all good and fair points. In game decision making would go under coaching as well, tge 2 field goals CMC passed up on would have won the game if converted.

Lost due to one issue & one issue only - GT scored more points. Why is another question.
